What's kept and why
Grocery bot beta. Updated October 4, 2026.
What the bot keeps
- Your Telegram id and first name, so it knows which kitchen you belong to.
- What it read from your pictures: the items it saw, how full they looked, and what was on your receipts. The photos and videos themselves stay on Telegram. The bot keeps Telegram's reference to each one, so it can read it again if a reading looks wrong.
- Your household's lists, purchases, recipes and diet, and the homes and delivery addresses you add. An address is only used to write it into the order you paste into ChatGPT.
- Payments: the amount in Stars and Telegram's charge id. Telegram handles the payment itself; the bot never sees how you paid.
Who else handles it
- Anthropic (Claude) and OpenAI read your pictures and messages to work out what's in your kitchen. Under their standard terms for developers, they don't use this data to train their models.
- Telegram carries the chat and the payments. Neon stores the database. Vercel runs the bot.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for ads.
Deleting it
The person who started a household can send /delete in the bot. That removes everything the household stored, straight away, and stops any subscription from renewing. Anyone else can send /leave. Your chat history with the bot lives on Telegram; delete it there if you want it gone too.
Changes
This is a beta, so things will change. If this page changes in a way that matters to you, the bot will tell you.
